Program Description
At Cornerstone Medical Training Center (CMTC), the 80 hour Certified Phlebotomy Technician (hereby referred to as CPT) program is designed to teach aspects related to blood collection and develop comprehensive skills to perform venipunctures completely and safely. The theory and lab work components of the program includes but not limited to; anatomy and physiology, blood collection procedures, specimen collection, infection control, and training in skills and techniques to perform puncture methods. Upon completion of Phlebotomy training at CMTC students will receive a certification of completion and may register to take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam administered by National Healthcareer Association (hereby referred to as NHA).
Enrollment Requirements

Proof individual is at least 18 years or older

High School Diploma or GED

The payment of registration fee and arrangements to pay tuition.
